Hand of God Collection 2017

Abstract glass sculpture unit, speaks of a reaching hand or floating bird. Units made to be placed solo or in plural configurations as art decor or chandelier replacement. Meant to give a feeling of earnestness reaching towards the unknown, embodying the weightlessness of change.

Hive Queen 2017

Deep water bug inspired glass sculpture mounted on a chrome base with EL light wire interior glow effect.

A physical representation of the “Hive Queen” as told by Orson Scott Card in the book Ender’s Game. In the story, an alien race is annihilated by ways of deceiving a little boy into commiting the heinous act through a video game. But once the boy realizes his actions were real, his deep compassion for the aliens allows him to open communications with the late hive queen and conjure up a follow through - a new hive queen larva is put under his care and he is awarded the task of finding them a new home.
