FERAL CITY

Multi-media painting on wood of a tiger in the grasses and flower with multiple eyes in a pop art freehand style

Bbam! Gallery asked me to do a small show in the middle of the room of some of my current works. It was fall time and a lot of wild energy turning through the air. The exhibit centered around my Ferocity painting on wood of a tiger in the bush. The style is free and chaotic and came to me as my pencil touched the wood. It reflects a time where my feral spirit, wild and free, is frozen into place, postured onto a 2 dimensional plane. The tame of covid had me more feral than ever, only to be trapped at the window.
